Struggling trying to figure out a career direction?  If so, we can help!

We offer a 5 step career guidance program (available online or in print) that will guide you in selecting a career direction and in developing a plan to reach your new career goal.  Specifically, our program will help you:

  1. Define your personality style (using several personal assessment inventories, you'll identify your interests, skills, values and behavioral traits).

  2. Identify occupations that match your interests.

  3. Research your selected occupations to understand their true nature.

  4. Select a career goal that best matches your overall personality style.

  5. Develop a plan to reach your goal, including, if necessary, a college major.

Assistance from a professional career counselor is available should you have questions as you progress through the program and upon completion to discuss your results and plans.

Next step...

SPC students and alumni, please log into MySPC and select "Career Development Services" to access the SPC Online Career Development Services website. On the Site Map page, click on "Select a career goal."

Non-students, please contact us to schedule two appointments. In the first meeting (approximately 2 hours) you will complete four inventories. In the second meeting (approximately 1 hour) you will meet with a career development specialist who will interpret your inventory results, and guide you in understanding how to use the results to select a career goal and develop a career plan.
