Dual Enrollment Program at St. Petersburg CollegeEarn college credits for free! St. Petersburg College offers college classes to qualified high school students in Pinellas County at no charge! These courses give students credits toward a high school diploma and a college degree. Courses are available on SPC campuses and some local high school campuses. Earn credits towards a 4-year bachelor's degree through participation in the Dual Credit program.
Students enrolled in grades 11 or 12 in Pinellas County public, private or home-education programs. Private school and home-education students may begin in 10th grade.
Contact your high school guidance counselor to see if you are eligible to take Dual Enrollment classes at SPC. If you successfully complete a Dual Enrollment course, you also will receive high school credit. Many Dual Enrollment classes also are offered at public and private high schools. Ask your guidance counselor for details. Federal law prohibits the college from releasing information regarding a student's progress in college courses to a third party without the student's written consent. A college GPA of 2.0 (C average) is required to remain in the Dual Enrollment program.
