POSITION TITLE: Director, Center For Teacher Transformation

BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Directs a center that will
originate, replicate and disseminate national programs and projects that have
proven successful in the practice of teaching and leadership development for
school administrators.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
ED.D or PHD preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Substantive successful experience in leadership positions in fields related to the project.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in
providing leadership in innovative projects or organizations. Knowledge of the
teaching and learning processes, school improvement processes, curriculum
development, instructional technology, and teacher and/or administrator training
and development programs. Ability to assess the need for programs and lead in
development of programs using a participatory management style. Ability to work
with multiple constituencies and organizations. Ability to effectively
communicate with stakeholders, educational policy makers, and decision makers.
