POSITION TITLE: Associate Curator and Registrar
DEPARTMENT: Leepa-Rattner Museum, Art Education Center SITE: Tarpon Springs

BASIC FUNCTION:
Performs all duties associated with the cataloging, superintendence, and care of the Leepa-Rattner art collection. Assists with curatorial exhibition related research and study of the collection. Work is performed under the administrative guidance of the director of Leepa-Rattner Museum and Art Education Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Bachelor's Degree in a related field. Supervisory experience with volunteers, students, and/or interns I art handling and registration. Knowledge of latest technology in cataloging and ability to run various software programs.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
One (1) year full-time or 3 years part-time experience in the cataloging, superintendence, and care of a permanent art collection, as well as such experience in the case of incoming and outgoing exhibitions.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of SPC academic departments
and programs. Knowledge of sentence structure. Knowledge of word usage.
Skill in reading comprehension. Skill in proofreading. Knowledge of basic
mathematics. Ability to operate a calculator. Ability to operate data entry
equipment. Verbal and written communications skills. Human relations skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication
skills. Ability to operate a personal computer and maintain vital software.
Ability to operate 35 mm camera. Interpersonal relations skills.
