POSITION
TITLE: Coordinator,
Institutional Research, Planning and Reporting
DEPARTMENT:

BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for coordination of the College Strategic Planning and Assessment
Process and the data collection and State Reporting Function of the College.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains a comprehensive system to compile, manage, evaluate, and report
data associated with college goals, institutional initiatives, and unit
plans.

Maintains an integrated system to collect, manage, analyze, and report data,
to assist in state reports, legislative reports, accreditation requirements,
accountability and internal institutional reporting.

Acts as liaison with the State on all Reporting requirements.

Responsible for meeting all State Reporting deadlines.

Responsible for the development, implementation, verification, and
monitoring of state reporting.

Manages organizational Planning deadlines, meetings, and reporting
requirements.

Acts as liaison for all questions related to organizational Planning and the
Planning application.

Develops, implements, and maintains continuous improvement training for
college-wide planning.

Uses reporting and queries functionally within PeopleSoft, to gather and
verify data.

Provides supervision and direction to departmental staff.

Performs related duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Organizational Development,
Industrial Psychology, Business Administration/Management, Planning or other
related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Three
(3) years experience in organizational planning, research, reporting, and
analysis.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Training and/or experience in educational measurement.

Experience with SAS or SPSS software.

Knowledge of educational systems.
-
Knowledge of computer, database, system architecture, and database
administration.

Ability to summarize and analyze complex data.
-
Ability to develop and automate reporting.
-
Ability to design and document systems and procedures.
-
Ability to develop and deliver technical training programs and teach systems
and concepts.
-
Ability to function in a team environment with other technical and
administrative staff.
-
Possession of strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Skill in planning and preparing for new initiatives.
