Title: Coordinator, Early College Program/Dual Enrollment/Early
Admission

BASIC
FUNCTIONS:
Coordinates
the Dual Enrollment/Early College Program and Early Admission activities and
schedules for a campus-based program. Responsibilities
include maintaining and developing relationships with the public and private
high schools in Pinellas County and the scheduling of Dual Enrollment/Early
College and Early Admission high school students. Reports to Director, Early
College Program/Dual Enrollment/Early Admission.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serves as
liaison to public and private high schools and home school students in Pinellas County.
- Works with the
Human Resources Department to assist in the hiring and training process
for high school liaisons.
- Advises students
in program planning, course selection and registration.
- Assists in
developing the annual budget for the Dual Enrollment/Early College
Program/Early Admission.
- Assists in
developing an annual listing of approved Dual Enrollment classes.
- Establishes
effective and efficient operational procedures for campus-based Dual
Enrollment/Early College Program/Early Admission programs.
- Maintains
consistent communication with high school liaisons and faculty members
involved in the Dual Enrollment program.
- Promotes and
develops offsite Dual Enrollment programs in local high schools.
- Monitors and
ensures that the faculty involved in the offsite Dual Enrollment programs
are properly credentialed and meet SACS standards.
- Assists in
conducting instructional evaluations of offsite Dual Enrollment adjunct
faculty within the local high schools.
- Develops a
detailed process of record keeping which will be used to monitor
enrollment of both Dual Enrollment and Early Admission students and
presents this report to the Director of the Dual Enrollment/Early College
program.
- Performs related
duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL
REQUIREMENTS:
Masters
degree required.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
Three
(3) years experience in education.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL
REQUIREMENTS:
Possession
of verbal and written communications skills. Organizational
and coordination skills. Computer literate with
the ability to learn and use those programs necessary for College support.
