How TO APPLY for an adjunct instructional position
There are two options:
- See the list of "high need" areas for adjuncts below. Find the one that matches your qualifiactions and complete both the Online Adjunct Application and a Pool Authorization Card . If you want to contact program directors or deans about possible openings, click on this link: Program Directors for Adjunct Positions.
- Because not all adjunct opportunities are listed below, you may also submit an application without completing a Pool Authorization Card. Then it will be on hand for any dean or program director to review when they have an instructional need. Just complete an ONLINE ADJUNCT APPLICATION, in which you will select the discipline(s) you believe you are qualified to teach.

Do not mail this separately to the college unless you are contacted and this is requested.
Keep your application up to date!
Applications older than 180 days (approximately 6 months) will not be considered. If you applied for a position longer than 180 days prior to the date of submitting a Pool Authorization Card, you must submit a new, updated application. The new application will automatically supersede the prior application.
Currently, your submitted application cannot be updated. If you wish to update your application, add a résumé or otherwise change information, you must submit a new application.

Provisions governing OPS (temporary) appointments:
These are temporary appointments with no expectation of continuing employment or appointment to a full-time regularly established budgeted position.
To apply for an OPS position, you must:
- completed an OPS (temporary) Employment Application. Failure to do so will disqualify you from consideration; and
- omplete an Applicant Pool Authorization Card stating the specific OPS position for which you are applying; Failure to do so will disqualify you from consideration.
Your submission verified automatically
When you receive a system notification that your pool card and application have both been received, your name is now in the pool of applicants for the position(s) for which you have applied. You do not need to contact Human Resources to confirm receipt.
Keep your application up to date!
Applications older than 180 days (approximately 6 months) will not be considered. If you applied for a position longer than 180 days prior to the date of submitting a Pool Authorization Card, you must submit a new, updated application. The new application will automatically supersede the prior application.
Currently, your submitted application cannot be updated. If you wish to update your application, add a résumé or otherwise change information, you must submit a new application.
