Transferring to SPC
Follow these steps to make the transition to SPC successful:
  • Contact the SPC Office of Scholarships & Student Financial Assistance as well as the financial assistance office at the institution you are currently attending to determine transfer policies.

  • The Office of Scholarships & Student Financial Assistance will be able to access your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) if you have listed SPC as a school in Step 6 of the application.

  • If SPC was not listed on the FAFSA, you will need to contact the federal processor at 1 (800) 433-3243 to add SPC. Our Federal School Code is 001528. You will need the Data Release Number provided on your Student Aid Report to add SPC.

  • The Office of Scholarships & Student Financial Assistance will attempt to receive your financial aid transcript information for you via a national database.  If there is difficulty obtaining this information, you will be notified.

  • For Bright Futures recipients or other assistance programs from the state of Florida, contact the Office of Student Financial Assistance in Tallahassee at:
    1-(888)827-2004.

  • For Federal Stafford Loan recipients, notify your school of your plans to attend SPC. Federal Stafford Loans DO NOT transfer.

  • Read and understand the Federal Stafford Loan Request Form. Complete a Federal Stafford Loan Request Form if additional loans are needed at SPC. The loan request form is available online at www.spcollege.edu/central/ssfa/loans.asp.
