ADMISSIONS
|
Fill out a St. Petersburg College (SPC) application and residency declaration form and submit the completed application to the Admissions Office. Forms may be picked up at any SPC campus or downloaded from our Web site at MySPC.
Students can also complete the application online. Be sure you have all previous training records or information, including transcripts from any college, university, high school or GED results, sent to the Admissions Office.

PLACEMENT TESTING
|
Contact the Testing Center at the St. Petersburg/Gibbs, Clearwater, Tarpon Springs or Seminole Campus(es) for placement testing, if required. Testing will determine the need for remedial courses.

COUNSELING
|
Contact an academic counselor or advisor for assistance in choosing a course of study. All students receiving Department of Veterans Affairs educational benefits must be enrolled in a State Approving Agency approved program leading to a certificate or degree.

VETERAN SERVICE COORDINATOR (VSC)
|
1) Apply for Veteran's benefits U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs - Veterans Online Application System (VONAPP) . You must submit your application online, print it, and provide a copy to the Veteran's Service Coordinator (VSC). You may fax your copy to (727) 791-2705, or mail it to SPC Veteran Services, PO BOX 13489, St. Petersburg FL 33733, or drop it off at the Financial Assistance Services office.

2) After registering for classes, fill out the VA Schedule verification form. This form must be submitted each term in order to receive veterans benefits.

3) Attend all of your classes regularly. Lack of participation and/or attendance in classes may result in a withdrawal and lack of compliance with VA benefit regulations.

REGISTRATION
|
Sign up for classes that are within your degree or certificate program. VA students will receive payment only for courses that apply to their degree. All veterans and eligible dependents are urged to consult the FAS office early in the admissions process. To maintain eligibility for DVA education benefits, students must adhere to the policies and procedures stated throughout this Web site and in the DVA rules and regulations.
