The A+ Certification was started in 1993 by the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). It is one of the few non-vendor specific certification programs. The fundamentals are generic and useful for any computer regardless of manufacturer. 
              

In our program, we offer courses designed to provide you with extensive laboratory experience in building, troubleshooting, and repairing personal computers, as well as preparing you for Comp TIA's A+ Exam.  All students are supplied with a fully functional laboratory computer, which will be broken down to the bare components and rebuilt from the motherboard up. 

The software focus includes installing operating systems, configuring and rebuilding the registry, Internet security (including virtual private networks), as well as software firewalls and Adware/Spyware detection and removal.
