Student Leadership Development Program: The Student Leadership Development Program is designed to challenge, encourage and motivate today’s emerging leaders. Our programs are designed to fit the needs of many different special interest groups and organizations on our campus. The program includes a range of experiential learning and leadership activities.
Monthly Leadership Workshops: Workshops are designed with a variety of different audiences and topics in mind to fit the needs of specific groups. Audiences such as women students, international students, special programs and social clubs benefit from topics that range from improving communications skills to resolving conflict to bettering time management. In addition to specific groups such as those above, workshops are also designed to appeal to a general audience.
Campus Events: There are two big events, one in the fall and one in the spring. The fall event is called Gobbler Grunt and is usually held the week before Thanksgiving. Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, i.e. one-mile runs, power walk, ping-pong, etc. Students win prizes and have lots of fun. A great stress reliever!
Spring Spree happens in the spring, it’s all about FUN. Every year is different, based upon what the current Student Activities Board plans.
