"The Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 includes a provision for Employer-Provided Educational Assistance. The exclusion from an employee's gross income for up to $5,250 of educational assistance provided under an employer's qualified plan has been made permanent. In addition, it will also apply to graduate courses after 2001." (Veterinary Hospital Manager's Association Newsletter, Issue 4, 2001.) |
