You can become an RRT in 24 months without leaving the area, and financial aid is readily available
St Petersburg College offers one of the oldest, most successful RT programs in the country. While the program has been producing highly qualified RRTs since the 1971 it has spent hundred of thousands of dollars to insure students are instructed in the latest technology in this high tech, high demand field. The on site simulation hospital here on campus uses the latest technology available to help students feel comfortable practicing skills in a controlled setting.
SPC’s RT program is designed to accommodate the needs of students of all ages and schedules. Recent graduates include a 20 year old and a 65 year old. The program is designed to help accommodate the working student.
SPC RRT graduates score 20-30% higher than the national average on exams, and almost all graduates and their employers state they are very satisfied with the program.
