    Apply NowHigh school students can apply now to be a Youth Ambassador to serve on Jan. 19, 2015 during the MLK Day of Service. In addition to giving back to the community, students will benefit from official volunteer hours required for high school curriculum, college applications or for scholarships.

    A community service dream come true

    With the third year of funding from the Florida legislature, St. Petersburg College and the MLK Advisory Committee are looking to make the 2015 MLK Day of Service on Monday, Jan. 19, 2015 the most memorable community service event to date. Please help us and join hundreds of local citizens who choose to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by serving the community. Let's make MLK Day a day on, not just a day off!

    How do I get involved?

    • Plan a service project and apply for a 2015 MLK Day of Service Award of up to $5,000 to fund the project
    • Serve as a volunteer in another organization or group’s service project on the MLK Day of Service
    • Organize a service project and have the project posted on this website
    • Become a donor or sponsor

    How do I volunteer?
