MySPC Troubleshooting Guide

You get the login screen but are told your 'User ID and/or Password are invalid'.

  1. Double-check your Student ID number. (MySPC calls it a User ID.)  You can look up your student ID number here.
  2. Don't enter any leading zeros for your Student ID number.
  3. Be sure about your password. You may want to:

You tried to reset your password but failed.

If you don't have an email address on file with SPC, or got an error when trying to create or reset your password, you can visit a campus admissions/registration office to create or reset your password.  Distance learning students may call the student Technical Support Desk at 727 341-HELP (4357).

You get in, but then you don't know what to do.

MySPC is pretty easy to navigate and you may not need any help figuring out what to do.  But if you would like some pointers, we have help available for you.

  1. Determine Course Subject(needed to search for a class)
  2. Complete instructions with examples - most require Adobe Reader to view

You're not a student at SPC, but you'd like to apply or see what classes we offer.

To apply for admission or to browse our schedules as a non-student, go to the MySPC login page and look for the links to Browse Course Catalog, Search for Classes, and Apply for Admission on the lower left.

You can't figure out the term code to use.

Most screens now offer clear choices, but a few still require you to type the term code.  Term codes increment by 5 - Summer 2009 is 410; Fall 2009 is 0415.  Anytime you see the magnifying glass icon a you can always click it to look up information.

You get in, and you're following instructions, but something isn't right.

There are some errors you may encounter that may require SPC staff intervention to resolve.  Please visit a campus near you if you experience any of the following:

If you are an eCampus student and receive any of the above messages, visit the eCampus web site to learn how to contact a Cyber Advisor for assistance with your problems.

You can't see the whole screen and have scroll right to left.

MySPC works best if you set your screen resolution for 1024x768. The system still works at lower settings, but some info may be crowded on the screen.

You thought you dropped/added/paid for a class but do not see that here.  What went wrong?
