College of Education Reporting Information

The federal Higher Education Act revisions of 2008, Title II reporting requirements, and the Florida Department of Education Continuing Approval Standards require that all Colleges of Education report data relating to their programs' curriculum, teacher candidate performance, program completers, program evaluation and decision-making process on an annual basis. Data related to teacher preparation programs must be published annually and made available to the public and policy makers.

The COE reports data to the State by conducting the annual evaluation of all programs as part of a continuous improvement process to improve our programs, as well as completing the Institutional Questionnaire, which includes Pass Rates, Program Information, and other contextual information. The information contained in the Questionnaire as well as other program information must be reported to the public.

Program Evaluations:

These reports are submitted to the FLDOE for undergraduate teacher preparation programs (baccalaureate level) and Educator Preparation Institutes (EPI) (post-baccalaureate level). Institutional Program Evaluation Plans (IPEPs) are evaluations of undergraduate programs. Annual Program Evaluation Plans (APEP) are evaluations of EPI programs. Both evaluations are submitted on an annual basis, every fall semester.

Federal Reports:

These reports are a roll up of undergraduate and EPI programs, by year. They report the number of completers that attempted and passed each section of the FTCE, as well as other information regarding field experiences.
