Camp of Public Safety: A Middle School Adventure

Dates: Week 1 - June 9-13
          Week 2 - June 16-20

Times: 8:15 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
(Early morning drop off is available from 7:30-8:15 a.m. at no extra charge.)

Grade Level: Students entering 6th, 7th and 8th grades

Have you ever wanted to be a detective who solves a crime? You can do so this summer at St. Petersburg College's Camp of Public Safety.

Through this camp, you'll get hands-on experience with:

  • Fingerprinting

  • Investigating a crime scene

  • Collection of evidence

  • Working in a crime lab

public safety campIn addition, there will be learning opportunities in physical and biological sciences.

Aftercare opportunities are available with SPC College for Kids program at nearby Perkins Elementary for the remainder of the day. Parents will need to provide transportation.
