Who Done It? Camp of Public Safety: A Middle School Adventure

"SOLVING A CRIME IN SUMMER 2009!"

Have you ever wanted to be a detective who solves a crime? You can do so this summer at St. Petersburg College’s Camp of Public Safety (COPS).

Get hands-on experience with:

  • Fingerprinting
  • Investigating a crime scene
  • Collection of evidence
  • Working in a crime lab
In addition, there will be learning opportunities in the physical and biological sciences. Public Safety professionals will also participate.

Dates:
Week 1:
June 8-12 $110
Week 2: June 15-19 $110
Week 3: June 22-26 $110

Times: 8:10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
(Early morning drop off is available from 7:30-8:10 a.m. at no extra charge.)

Grade Level: Recommended for sixth through eighth grade graduates

Application fee: $40

Weekly fee: $110

Aftercare opportunities are available with SPC College for Kids program at nearby Perkins Elementary for the remainder of the day. Parents will need to provide transportation.
