Class #1939 |
Marine Biology and Salt Water Ecology
The Tampa Bay ecosystem is a good example of the importance of balancing man’s activities with the natural cycles of marine animals and essential native salt tolerant plants. Students will incorporate field studies with classroom activities to discover the interactions that take place in this unique environment. Direct observation of various species of invertebrates and their habitat as well as lab activities in the classroom will make up the learning environment. Students will be involved in learning about salt water invertebrates, identifying a variety of fish, and what animals are still being threatened in today’s world. |
