IV Therapy 30 Hours

This 30-hour program meets the F.B.O.N. I.V. Therapy requirement for LPNs. This course has been designed to provide the RN or LPN with a basic knowledge of IV Therapy practice. Course content includes current standards of practice, venous access device review, venipuncture techniques, I.V. medication administration and fluid management, a review of nutritional solutions, management of difficult IV insertions, legal aspects and vascular access protocols, a 50-question post test and limited hands-on practice.
Good RN refresher.
