Qualified supervisors, who provide
supervision for licensure for clinical social work, marriage and
family and/or mental health counselor interns are required to have
specified training in supervision. This course is designed to meet
the requirements of Rule 64B4-6.0025, F.A.C. It will include: the
major models of supervision and the development of a personal model
of supervision; exploring the co-evolving dynamics of
therapist-client and supervisor-therapist-client relationships;
examining the distinctive issues that arise in supervision;
addressing, contextual variables; becoming familiar with the
ethical, legal and regulatory issues of supervision; and
understanding the role of evaluation in supervision.
Please arrive 15 minutes before scheduled class time to sign-in. No
partial credits offered.
