Florida Laws and Rules for 491 Licensure

Participants
will acquire an improved understanding of the licensure regulations
(FS 90.503, FS 455 Part II, and FS 491) and become familiar with
both the mental health and substance abuse statutes (FS 394, FS
397), including Baker Act guidelines for the State of Florida.
This course will expand awareness of the set of laws regarding
abuse, neglect and exploitation within the state of Florida (FS 415,
FS 39 Part I), and enhance knowledge regarding professional
responsibilities contained in each of the above-mentioned statutes.
Please arrive 15 minutes before scheduled class time to sign-in. No
partial credits offered.
