IV Therapy 30 Hours

This 30-hour program meets the F.B.O.N. I.V. Therapy requirement for LPN’s. This course has been designed to provide the RN or LPN with a basic knowledge of I.V. Therapy practice.

Course content includes current standards of practice, a venous access device review, venipuncture techniques, I.V. medication administration and fluid management, a review of nutritional solutions, management of difficult I.V. insertions, legal aspects and vascular access protocols, a 50-question post test and limited simulated hands-on practice. Note: This is a post graduate course.

Designed to provide the RN or LPN with a basic knowledge of IV Therapy practice. Upon successful completion the participant will receive documentation of 30 hours of IV Therapy Education.
Good RN refresher.
