Orthotic Softgoods - Back to Basics

This course begins
with a comprehensive overview of body planes and body position
terminology including an overview of lever arm principles as applied
to orthotics and the importance of pressure management and the
avoidance of pressure points. The program continues with an
introduction to spinal supports including spinal anatomy, physiology
and pathology related to softgoods supports. Tools required for this
level of supports are also reviewed. Product categories and fitting
techniques are also taught. Softgoods supports as they relate to
anatomy, pathology and physiology of the lower extremities are
presented. Product classification, selection and application are
presented and demonstrated.

promptly at 5:00PM. No partial credit. You must arrive on time and
stay all day to receive credit.
