Learn how the medications are administered, absorbed, distributed and eliminated by an individual. This process does change with age, which can cause the development of side effects, adverse reactions and increased hospitalization. In addition, medications will affect how an individual performs in rehabilitation therapy. The purpose of this seminar is to provide the learner with a basic review of pharmacology and how these processes change as an individual ages. In addition, this seminar will discuss specific classes of medications that can affect rehabilitation therapy.

Please arrive between 7:45AM - 8:15AM to sign-in. Conference begins promptly at 8:30AM. No partial credit. You must arrive on time and stay all day to receive credit.
