AAP0777 English as a Second Language – Beginning |

This class is designed for the community resident who has
a limited ability to speak, read or understand English. The
emphasis in this class is to understand and be understood
with American English phrases and sentences. |

AAP0779 English as a Second Language – Intermediate |
|
|
|
This class is the second level of ESL, emphasizing
continued progress in reading, speaking and writing of
American English, as well as improving pronunciation
and building vocabulary. This course is intended to better
prepare students for academic study. |

AAP0780 English for Conversation & Pronunciation |
|
|
|
This is the third level of ESOL, offered to beginning English
speakers to sharpen their language skills by using correct
word sounds. The course features role play and social
conversations between the students, and emphasizes
speaking and listening, as well as provides students with
useful language lessons and practice for dynamic situations. |
