Wendell Hall Mr. Hall took office of Sheriff of Santa Rosa County in 2001, and was re-elected in 2004. Mr. Hall was formerly with the Escambia County Sheriff's Office as corrections officer, patrol deputy, marcotics investigator, property crimes investigator, major crimes investigator and supervisor and adminstrative supervisor. Promoted to the ranks of Croporal and Sergeant, Mr. Hall is also a certified hostage negotiator, field training officer and a firearms instructor. Sheriff Hall is a native of atmore, Alabama, a graduate of Pensacola Junior College and Troy State University with a Bachelor of ARts in Criminal Justice Cum Laude. Sheriff Hall is also a member of several organizations including the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency and has received mumerous awards including Elks Lodge #2787 "law Enforcement Office of the Year 2002-03;" Florida Council on Crime and Deliquency "Law Enforcement Distinguished Service Award 2003;" and the Pace Rotary Club "Rotarian of the Year 2003-04 for Exceptional Dedication and Commitment."
