Rick Butcher

Mr. Butcher has over 25 years experience in Fire Science with Tarpon Springs holding the positions of Firefighter, Driver/Engineer, EMT, Paramedic, Lieutenant and Fire Inspector and currently Fire Marshal. As Fire Marshal, some current responsibilties include Fire prevention, inspections, plan review, public education, arson investigation and Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Tarpon Springs.

Mr. Butcher has functioned as speaker and participated in several Governors' Hurrican Conferences and worked as Fire Marshal for Olympic Venues at the 2002 Winter Olympic Games. He is also a memeber of several organization including Florida Fire Marshals & Inspectors Association Board, Tampa Bay Fire Marshals Association, and Boys & Girls Club Board Memeber for 22 years.
