DAVE PANO
Head Coach

A native of Westboro, Mass. Coach Pano played baseball at Eckerd College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree.  He holds a master's degree in Management from Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne. He was a Graduate Assistant at Eckerd College for one year.

As a coach of American Legion ball, he guided the Madeira Beach team to more than 300 wins. In the summer of 1998 he coached in Keene, N.H. in the New England Collegiate League, and in the summer of 2001, he coached in Virginia's Valley League. From 2002-04, he was the hitting coach for the Toronto Blue Jays' Auburn, N.Y. He was an affiliate in the New York-Penn league ('05 and '06) and managed the Toronto Blue Jays (Appalachian League) in Pulaski, Va.. 

In over 12 seasons at the helm at SPC, Pano's overall record is 357-161-1 (.690).  The Titans won their first state title in 2005 and finished second in the nation at the JuCo World Series in Grand Junction, Colo. Pano was named Florida Junior College Coach of the Year in 2001, 02, '03, '06 and '07.  In 2005 he was the state's Junior College Coach of the Year and the Region 8 (Southeast) Coach of the Year.
