Titans slay the Lions 86-78

Nov. 8, 2005

St. Petersburg, FL --

The Titans went into the second half down by two points, but the second half was an entirely different story.  Led by Michael Knight's 20 second half points (22 for the game), St. Petersburg was able to surge out to a six points lead with 13:00 left. However, Knight's five three pointers were too much for Florida Memorial College to overcome. Points came from a variety a sources including the the bench, led by Yarmaine Minnis' 9 points and 6 rebounds. Freshman Calvin Wilson 's pulled down 10 rebounds in limited action due to foul trouble and George Hardy led the assist charge (6).

The Titans now are 2-0 and head into the weekend with two games versus Miami Dade Community College and Wayne State College.
