Scott White SCOTT WHITE
Head Coach

Coach White is entering his sixth season as Head Coach at St. Petersburg College.  In five seasons, White has coached 24 All-Conference selections, five All-State selections, two conference players of the year, an NJCAA All-American, 25 Academic All Conference players and three National Academic All-Americans.  These players propelled Coach White to over 100 wins in five seasons compiling a 103 – 60 career record for a 0.632 winning percentage.  Coach White is also certified by the USAV (CAP II).
Coach White was a four-year starter at the University of Michigan earning three all conference selections and several all tournament honors. After college, Coach White competed in USA Volleyball earning the regional MVP award, USAV All Rookie Team, 11 regional championships, and four top 5 finishes at the National Championships. Coach White holds a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Engineering from the University of Michigan.

 
 

 
 

DYIONNA SMITH
Assistant Coach

This is Coach Smith's opening season with St. Petersburg College. In addition to coaching, she is currently an employee of Pinellas County Schools. Smith has previously coached with Pinellas Heat Elite volleyball club. She has also worked hands on with producing the Zephyrhills Beach Volleyball Tour based in Boca Raton Florida. 

Coach Smith played for four years with Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Smith was a setter for her first two seasons with the golden panthers, and then finished her college career playing right side. She was awarded with the honor of being named Sun Belt Conference Defensive player of the week during her junior year. She was one of only four athletes from FIU to pick up one of Sun Belt's awards since they entered the conference. Smith graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in physical education and sports management.

Since the completion of her collegiate career, she has become an active player on the beach volleyball circuit. In the summer of 2007, Smith and her partner won the Zephyrhills national championship beach volleyball tournament in Miami Florida.
