Banking Admission Requirements
Prerequisites
The B.A.S. in Banking curriculum consists of eleven required and four elective courses. These are professional courses and sufficient preparation is essential. All incoming students are expected to be well grounded in the fundamental principles addressed in the prerequisites for accounting, economics, and quantitative methods (i.e., calculus, statistics).
Requirements
Students will be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Applied Science in Banking program at St. Petersburg College by submitting the following:
- Application for Admission.
- Submit Official transcripts from high school or GED. Students who submit transcripts that document a regionally accredited associate's, bachelor's or higher degree are not required to submit a high school transcript unless it documents completion of two consecutive years of one foreign language.
- Submit Official transcripts from college(s) currently or previously attended.
- Completion of all college preparatory coursework and a minimum of 15 semester hours of transferable general education coursework.
- Requires a Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in all postsecondary coursework.
