A Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Nursing Admission Requirements
Students will be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Science Nursing Program by submitting the following:
- Application for Admission.
- Official transcripts from high school(s) (or GED). Students who have submitted transcripts that document a fully accredited associate in arts, bachelor's or higher degree are not required to submit a high school transcript, unless it documents completion of two consecutive years of one foreign language.
- Official transcripts from college(s) currently or previously attended.
- Official transcripts showing an A.S. Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution or a diploma in nursing accredited by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
- A copy of a valid, unrestricted, unencumbered RN license from the state in which the applicant is practicing, to be kept current throughout the duration of the required course of study.
- Completion of all college preparatory coursework, computer competency requirement and a minimum of fifteen (15) semester hours of transferable general education coursework.
- Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in all postsecondary coursework.
