Technology Management Admission Requirements
  • Application for Admission.
  • Applicants for the B.A.S. in Technology Management program should have an Associate in Science degree from a regionally-accredited institution in one of the following technical areas: General Business, Business Administration, Computer Engineering Technology, Computer Information Technology, Computer Programming, Computer Service Technology, Database Technology, Electrical Distribution Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Industrial Electrical Technology, Industrial Manufacturing Technology, Information Technology, Security Engineering, Internet Services Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Network Services Technology or Plastics Engineering Technology.
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale in all postsecondary coursework.
  • Applicants must have obtained 18 credit hours of transferable general education credits.
  • Students with at least 60 semester credit hours of post-secondary education, but who do not hold either an A.A. or A.S. degree, may be admitted by the Dean on a case-by-case basis.
  • Students with an Associate in Arts (A.A.) degree, with a minimum of 36 semester hours of transferable general education coursework from a fully accredited postsecondary institution may complete 21 credits in a single technical major in place of the additional general education coursework required of students admitted with an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree.
