At SPC we believe teaching is more than a job; it's a calling. If you've thought about becoming a teacher, if you care about tomorrow and want to make a difference in the lives of our children, then perhaps teaching is for you.
Our education program is new and innovative. SPC is affordable, close to home and offers the same high-quality education degree you would expect from any state university. And better yet, unlike state universities, our classes are smaller, which means you receive close, personal attention from our professors. Why go anywhere else?
Program AccreditationCollege of Education programs are approved by the Florida Department of Education. To learn more about COE’s accreditation, visit COE Accreditation Information
Nine Undergraduate Programs of ConcentrationYou may attend SPC full-time or part-time - whatever your work or family obligations permit. Full-time and part-time students are required to spend time in classrooms, but our knowledgeable and attentive SPC counselors will help formulate a plan that suits your lifestyle. The College of Education offers classes at three SPC campuses: Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg/Gibbs.
