  • Titans Sweep Weekend

    The St Petersburg College Baseball team continued its hot start over the weekend. Going into the weekend 3-0, the Titans faced three challenging opponents: Santa Fe, Seminole State, and Miami Dade. On Friday, our Titans faced the Santa Fe Saints. Going down early by three runs, our Titans responded with a three run inning of their own. Read more.

    Season Kicks Off to 3-0 Start

    The Titans baseball team opened up the 2015 season by defeating the National Power and Preseason Ranked 2 San Jacinto Gators of Houston, Texas. The match lasted 10 innings, with a final score of 6 – 7. Read more.

    SPC mourns the loss of Coach Ed Davis

    St. Petersburg College lost beloved College Baseball Coach Edward “Ed” Davis on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015. Coach Beckman remarked, “It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of legendary baseball coach Ed Davis. A great coach, teacher, and a wonderful man.” On Monday, Jan. Read more.

    Titans Baseball Hosts Sweden Baseball Academy   

    St Petersburg College and its baseball program are pleased to welcome Tony Klarberg from the Sweden Baseball Academy in Leksand, Sweden. Coach Klarberg will spend a day with Head Coach Ryan Beckman discussing Junior College baseball in Florida. Coach Beckman remarked: This is a unique opportunity to spend time with a coach from another country. Read more.

    To delight of many fans, the Men’s Baseball team has released their 2015 schedule. Coach Beckman had this to say about the release, “We are looking forward to a great season. We put together the toughest non-conference schedule that we could and hope that this prepares us to compete for the Suncoast Conference championship.
