1) Student must complete a minimum of nine hours of business technologies courses, or have the recommendation of an SPC instructor in order to apply for an internship. The more classes completed the more competitive the student will be in obtaining an internship. 

2) Read the Student Manual in its entirety. Fill out the internship application and submit to the internship department along with your resume.

3) It is highly recommended that you have your resume reviewed by the Career Development Center on any campus, or make an appointment with the Internship Coordinator to review your resume.  The Internship Coordinator and/or the Career Center can also provide you will guidance on interviewing skills, attire for interviews, the follow-up process, etc. 

4) The Internship Coordinator will keep your application and resume in the database.  You may apply for more than one position at a time, and most positions are "apply direct" where you can submit your resume directly to the employer. The employer will contact you directly if they are interested in setting up an interview.  Be sure to contact the Internship Coordinator when you accept an internship position, goldsmith.larry@spcollege.edu
