This Web site is an effort of the Equity Committee to celebrate and promote culture diversities.

From Nov. 15^th to Nov. 19^th, 2009 St. Petersburg College celebrates International Education Week. Click here to see the celebration events at our campuses.

A joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, International Education Week promotes programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States. For 2010, it'll be from Nov. 15^th through Nov. 19^th. For 2011, the dates are Nov. 14^th - Nov. 18^th.

The Equity Committee members were proud to have participated in the making of the Professional Development Day at Clearwater on Friday, October 23^rd, 2009. We incorporated a break-out session "Teaching to Make a Difference".
