Professional Development Day - 10/23/2009

The Equity Committee members were proud to have participated in the making of the Professional Development Day at Clearwater on Friday, October 23rd, 2009. We incorporated a break-out session "Teaching to Make a Difference"

Program Sequence on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM:

I. Welcome (by Prof. Anthony Ballard)

II. Introduction of faculty and student panel
(Each faculty and student will be asked to briefly introduce themselves to the audience)

III. Questions posed to faculty and student panel:

   a. What is your teaching philosophy that has supported and motivated you throughout your teaching career?

   b. What has enabled you to positively impact and inspire the students you teach?

   c. Students will be asked to share their memorable classroom moments and achievements by reflecting on the faculty who have inspired and motivated them.

IV. Questions and Answer Segment (if time permits)

   If times permits Prof. Anthony Ballard will take questions from the audience which will be geared toward the faculty or student panel.

V. Ending remarks (by Prof. Anthony Ballard).
