Early College Program

Q. What is the difference between the Early College Program and Dual Enrollment?

A. The Early College Program is a full-time Dual Enrollment option for qualified students.

Q. How do I qualify for the Early College Program?

A. Qualified students are required to earn passing scores on the College Placement Test or SAT/ACT; hold a 3.0 unweighted high school GPA of 3.0 or higher; and demonstrated passing scores on the FCAT Test.

Q. Where are the Early College Program classes held?

A. Classes are held at the Clearwater, Seminole, and Tarpon Springs of SPC.

Q. Can I still participate in the extracurricular activities or athletic programs at my high school?

A: Yes! Students are encouraged to maintain a connection with their assigned high school.

Q. What is the cost for the Early College Program?

A: The application fee, textbooks and tuition are FREE!
