MEMORIALIZING A FRIEND OR LOVED ONE

What a thoughtful way to pay tribute to a loved one by making a gift to SPC in his or her name.  Preserving their memory through scholarships, campaigns and programs, naming buildings, faculty chairs, or an extraordinary tribute to an English teacher.

THANK YOU DONORS, THANK YOU!  Growing the future

Wendall Ware graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College in 1939.  He stated that his memories at the College “stand out above all other educational opportunities.”   He wanted to give students and faculty an opportunity to use his collection of manuscripts, books, newspapers, public records, diaries and television scripts that he gathered for the highly successful microform publishing business he developed.

In 1999, Mr. Ware donated his $1.9-million collection of more than 25-million microfiche pieces named for his English teacher, M. Carolyn   Parker because of the support and encouragement he received from her.
