Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG)
This need based grant is awarded by the Florida Department of Education. The FAFSA must be processed by May 15. To be considered for this grant a student must be a one-year Florida resident, a full-time student (12 credit hours), and must have and maintain a 2.0 cumulative and term grade point average.
  • File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) prior to the state deadline of May 15, allowing 30 days for processing.
  • List SPC as a school in Step 6 of the FAFSA. The school code is 001528.
  • Enroll as a full-time student (minimum 12 credit hours) each semester.
  • The Scholarships & Student Financial Assistance Office will verify eligibility of individual students and notify them of the award.
  • Funds will be mailed to the student's home address at the end of the forth week of classes of each term.
