St. Petersburg College - Financial Assistance Services - Scholarships

Institutional Scholarships

Institutional scholarships are awarded by the college or by individual departments at SPC on the basis of need and/or academic achievement. Criteria and amounts vary and are contingent upon available funding. They include:
Presidential Scholarships - Available to academically qualified graduates of Pinellas County high schools who have received a regular high school diploma. Specific criteria may be obtained by contacting the Scholarship Specialist in the Financial Assistance Services office.
Johnnie Ruth Clarke Scholarships - Available to African American, Hispanic, Asian, and other disadvantaged students of Pinellas County high schools who have received a regular high school diploma and demonstrated significant academic ability. Specific criteria may be obtained by contacting the Office of the Scholarship Specialist in the Financial Assistance Services office.
Activities Scholarships - Special student activities scholarships are awarded in an amount generally sufficient to cover tuition and fees to students who perform certain requirements in the particular activity indicated. These scholarships are:
