The Alumni Association's Board of Directors choose the most outstanding graduating sophomore for the Apollo Award from applicants nominated by students, faculty, staff and alumni.
Winners are chosen for their outstanding leadership abilities, scholastic standing, community service, honors and awards.
The winner receives:
- Apollo plaque
- Scholarship check for $1,000
- Lifetime membership in the SPC Alumni Association
- One-year honorary appointment to the SPC Alumni Association Board of Directors
His/her name is inscribed on a permanent trophy at the college and he/she will joins a list of previous recipients dating back to 1966.
