The dance program at SPC offers a wide variety of dance courses including Jazz, Modern, and Ballet technique. There are beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. In addition to the regular dance classes, SPC offers many exciting dance workshops.

There are several performing opportunities at SPC. Dancers can earn college credit by enrolling in the Dance Repertory classes. There are two annual dance concerts as well as many off-campus performances. The concerts are choreographed by SPC faculty and are enhanced by the Guest Choreographer Series which commissions works from several local professional choreographers each year.

CoMotion Dance Theatre is the resident dance company at SPC. Auditions are held at the beginning of each semester. There is a Dance Repertory I course designed for the beginner performer.

Scholarships are available to talented dance students.
