Equal
Access and Equal Opportunity at SPC
Ready
to help
The Equal Access/Equal Opportunity (EA/EO) Office is
designed to help members of the St. Petersburg College community seek
fair and just resolutions of conflicts in college matters - in a
non-adversarial, non-litigious manner.
EA/EO officers facilitate procedures for handling conflicts. However, the officers
are not advocates for any party, nor do they determine the outcome of these
matters.
Hearing your point of view
The EA/EO Office is geared toward independence,
impartiality, and confidentiality to the degree permitted by law. Although we
cannot always promise the outcome you were hoping for, we can guarantee that we
will listen, be fair, and be responsive to your needs. You also will get a
complete explanation as to why and how the resolution came
about.
No person should suffer any penalty because he or she seeks assistance from an EA/EO officer. |

St. Petersburg College is dedicated to the concept of equal opportunity. The
college will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex,
age, national origin, or marital status, or against any qualified individual
with disabilities, in its employment practices or in the admission and
treatment of students. Recognizing that sexual harassment constitutes
discrimination on the basis of sex and violates this rule, the college will
not tolerate such conduct. Should you experience such behavior, please
contact Pamela Smith, the director of EA/EO at (727) 341-3261; by mail at P.O. Box 13489,
St. Petersburg, FL 33733-3489; or by e-mail at eaeo_director@spcollege.edu.
