1. Go to the WebCT @SPJC page, and click on the "Course Listings" link at the top.
2. Scroll down the course category list to find Vet-Tech and click on it.
3. You will see a short list, and one item is named Vet-Tech Hancock. Click on the key symbol next to the course to create your username and password. You might want to write these down on something because you need them to get into the course each time.
4. Click on the Vet-Tech Hancock course, enter your name and password, and you will see the course home page. Scroll down to the item Course Modules and click on that to see the list of Just In Time Learning modules.
The 16 modules are in various stages of completion, but they illustrate the possibilities and the concept. They are under constant development and additional multimedia is being added at the present time. The basic framework is meant to accomplish several objectives:
_ be easily accessable and easy to navigate
_ be uniform in appearance and organization to facilitate both creation and navigation
_ to be able to serve most students without further faculty intervention.
_ to provide quick student access to faculty assistance via email, chats, and videoconferencing when requested
