Risk Management Mission

 

 

Administer a risk management program to maximize safety to students, staff and visitors; ensure continuity of College services to the community, and avoid and/or minimize the cost of risk to the College.

 

The program will identify risks, takes measures to understand those risks, apply effective risk control measures to protect property and safeguard human lives, and provide risk funding methods to meet loss occurrences through the following program initiatives:

 

 

Provide on-going safety and risk training

Conduct self-initiated safety/security inspections

Conduct accident investigations

Comply with safety/security policies and procedures

 

 

Track risk factors

Analyze crime and accident reports to determine trends

Monitor risk expenses

 

 

Participate in self-insured risk pool

Coordinate claims with insurance policies

Purchase safety equipment
