State of Florida matching gift program
The SPC Foundation, Inc. is proud to announce the First Generation in College Scholarship Fund. This fundraising effort has the potential to provide significant financial support for many of SPC’s neediest students.
First generation students come from families that are struggling economically but hope that through their children they can secure a piece of the American dream of financial independence and increased social stature.
The Florida legislature established the First Generation Fund where they will match all donations received by December 1, dollar-for-dollar, thus doubling the impact your dollars can make.
Your gift today provides SPC with immediate cash resources that can be applied to the First Generation Fund. All donations will be submitted for possible matching by the State of Florida at the ratio of 1:1 for scholarships and facilities and of 2:3 for endowed faculty chairs, distinguished teaching chairs, and academic programs.
