POSITION TITLE: Coordinator, Baccalaureate Programs Research and Reports
DEPARTMENT: Baccalaureate Programs SITE: Tarpon - Variable
SALARY SCHEDULE: A&P GRADE: C
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for determining the data requirements for the various Baccalaureate programs of the College.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitors and coordinates PeopleSoft 3C implementation for the Baccalaureate programs.
Manages Faculty Advising implementation for the Baccalaureate programs.
Acts as functional project manager for database related enhancements and changes.
Identifies problems, assesses needs and develops solutions for end user data requirements.
Designs, tests and implements database functionality to satisfy data requirements of the various Baccalaureate programs and new initiatives.
Develops an integrated system to collect, manage, analyze and report all data, administrative, faculty and student regarding the four year programs to assist in state reports, legislative reports, accreditation requirements, accountability and internal institutional effectiveness
Manage existing survey instruments, and suggest new survey items to monitor and collect data on the four year programs to utilize in reports and revisions.
Designs and tests reports and queries to satisfy end user data requirements.
Maintains quality control of PeopleSoft data as it relates to the Baccalaureate programs.
Serves as Baccalaureate liaison to AIS technical staff and Institutional Research to ensure data integrity and accurate state reporting.
Develops, implements and maintains continuous improvement training and educational plan for the Baccalaureate Specialists, Faculty Advisors, Deans, Executive Administrative Assistants and Baccalaureate Team on the PeopleSoft Student Administration system.
Documents business rules, procedures, nomenclatures and standards related to the use of PeopleSoft within the various Baccalaureate programs.
Documents reports, queries PeopleSoft functionally related to the Baccalaureate program use of the PeopleSoft system.
Performs related duties as required.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Three (3) years experience in educational setting including experience in the development, design and implementation of computer database systems and procedures.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of or the ability to acquire knowledge of the college business rules and procedures. Knowledge of PeopleSoft educational systems. Knowledge of advanced computer, database, system architecture and database administration. Ability to design, develop, implement and maintain PeopleSoft system enhancements. Ability to design and document systems and procedures. Ability to develop and deliver technical training programs and teach systems and concepts. Ability to function in a team environment with other technical, administrative and Baccalaureate staff. Possession of written and verbal communication skills. . Skill in planning and preparing for new initiatives to be incorporated into existing database systems.
