POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE:
Coordinator, Campus Student and Business Services

BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for the
overall implementation, management and supervision of administrative, campus
support services, business office operations, admissions, records,
registration, word processing/academic support services, technical support
services and coordination of administrative events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintains accurate and current written procedures and
documentation for all functions of the TSC support services.
- Responsible for all business/cashiering transactions
that occur in student accounting on the TSC.
- Oversees session fee audits with associated
corrections or billings/collections for the campus, including short-term
loans and Florida Pre Paid.
- Directs the admissions process, including verification
of Florida Residency status.
- Supervises the campus admissions and registration
process.
- Manages payroll and respective departments.
- Manages the workflow, process and procedures and
requests for the word processing/academic support areas.
- Plans and coordinates administrative on-campus events.

Develops and promotes staff development and on-site programs for staff at
TSC.

Participates and represents the college in local community events.

Develops and administers administrative programs. Maintains procedures for
safety, security and confidentiality of student files and registration
records.
- Devises innovative techniques to provide efficient
registration.
- Prepares and certifies attendance records and student
load status for governmental agencies, lending institutions and employers.
Processes SPC transcripts, hard copy.
- Sets goals and implements programs to accomplish goals
for campus admissions and records.
- Develops and administers the budget for campus
admissions and records.
- Handles grievances and employee questions for staff
under immediate supervision. Promotes team spirit with staff.
- Responsible for campus grade input and forwarding
attendance records to Central Records.
- Recommends hiring, trains, directs and evaluates all
Career Service personnel in campus administrative departments.
- Supervises and is responsible for campus technical
support staff.
- Works with the Provost and Associate Provost in
establishing and implementing campus policies and procedures.
- Establishes, implements and promotes customer service
practices.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s Degree.
EXPERIENCE
REQUIREMENTS:
Four (4) years experience
in managing and supervising staff and multiple departments.
KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge of SPC BOT Rules and Florida Statutes that apply to graduation
and residency. Knowledge of database management and computer record keeping
systems. Knowledge of computer networking concepts. Knowledge of the total
process involved in the admissions and records. Knowledge of the specialized
software used in campus applications. Knowledge of accounting practices and
procedures. Ability to maintain a complex system of student records Ability to
establish and maintain working relationships with students, staff, faculty and
the public. Possession of written and verbal communication skills. Possession
of human relations skills. Interpersonal relations skills. Skill in reading
comprehension. Organizational skills. Position requires customer relations
skills and attention to detail.
